Buying a template

Updated September 9, 2026

Templates are unlocked with credits, not a card. Credits are bought once (see Top-up policy) and spent across the product.

Browsing

Templates lists everything published, plus anything built exclusively for your organization. Open one to preview it — the preview is the real playable, running in your browser, and you can put your own text and artwork into it before deciding.

What unlocking costs

Each template shows its price in credits. A template priced at 0 is free to use; you are only charged when you export.

What unlocking gets you

Unlocking is per organization, not per person or per game. Once it is unlocked:

  • Everyone in the organization can build with it.
  • You get a shared pool of free exports for that template.
  • Once the pool is used up, each further export costs the current per-export price.

The pool is shared across every game and version that uses the template, so unlocking once and building five campaigns from it does not cost five times.

Exclusive templates

A template built for you through an order is exclusive: it does not appear in the public catalog and only your organization can open it.

Versions

A template can have several versions. Your game version pins one, and stays on it. If a version was built privately for your organization, only your organization can select it.

See also Template policy.
